Hi there! I'm doing a study on 'tumblr language'...
I won’t be quoting any individuals in my report, just statistics such as “over half of female users over the age of 16 answered x”. I have to do a sociolinguistics project on an...
I’m thinking of doing it about tumblr.
The only problems I might have are:
I have to conduct my own research (which would rely on me being able to talk to other tumblr users)
I have to be able to quote other people’s research.
In all fairness, the first one is much more easily solved than the second. As far as I can tell, no studies have been carried out on tumblr language yet.
